Participants can learn to handle multiple objects simultaneously. Once there is mastery of basic skills, sensory integration is further stimulated by executing specific pattern sequences while standing on a variable difficulty balance board.

Linda Faste, M. Ed, M.A.LINDA FASTE, M. Ed., M.A., is a certified Brain Gym® instructor and Consultant, a sanctioned Bal-A-Vis-X practitioner, a core specialist in the Masgutova Method (MNRI ®), and a credentialed schoolteacher. Her two Master’s Degrees are in Special Education and Child Development. Linda is also a graduate of the Center for Intentional Living, an in-depth psychology program.

Linda draws on over 35 years of teaching experience as a private instructor and public school teacher at all age and ability levels ranging from preschool to adult.  Linda has explored rhythm through TaKeTiNa, Bal-A-Vis-X and the learning breakthrough program, Balametrics. She is the co-creator, with Shirley Kelley, of the Bags, Balls and Brains classes.

Linda presently has a private practice for students with learning disabilities where she combines many different successful modalities such as the Singerland Approach, Linda-Mood, Schools Attuned, Developmental Kinesiology, and Clay Mastery. In addition, Linda teaches Brain Gym® classes both locally and abroad.

Shirley KelleySHIRLEY KELLEY, M.S. Ed., is a State of CA credentialed educator, Body-Mind Centering® Practitioner and Registered Somatic Movement Educator/Therapistsm, and sanctioned Bal-A-Vis-X practitioner. She is a graduate of the Center for Intentional Living, a program emphasizing a psychospiritual approach to human development. Shirley co-created Bags, Balls and Brains with Linda Faste. This series of classes focuses primarily on the rhythmic integrative eXercises of Bal-A-Vis-XThe movements from Brain Gym®, embodiment explorations of Body-Mind Centering® and the sensory integration activities of Balametrics are offered as underlying support for the BAVX eXercises.

Shirley teaches on-going classes in the Greater Rochester, NY area as well as Northern California.
