Participants can learn to handle multiple objects simultaneously. Once there is mastery of basic skills, sensory integration is further stimulated by executing specific pattern sequences while standing on a variable difficulty balance board.

Linda Faste, M. Ed, M.A.

LINDA FASTE, M. Ed., M.A., is a certified Brain Gym® Instructor and Consultant, and a credentialed school teacher. Her two Master’s Degrees are in special education and child development. Linda draws on over 35 years of teaching experience as a private instructor and public school teacher at all age and ability levels ranging from preschool to adult. Linda is currently exploring rhythm through TaKeTiNa, Bal-A-Vis-X® and the learning breakthrough program, Balametrics. She presently has a private practice for students with learning disabilities where she combines many different successful modalities such as the Singerland Approach, Linda-Mood, Schools Attuned, developmental kinesiology, and clay mastery. In addition, Linda teaches Brain Gym® classes both locally and abroad.

Shirley KelleySHIRLEY KELLEY, M.S. Ed., is a State of CA credentialed educator, Body-Mind Centering Practitioner® and Registered Somatic Movement Educator/TherapistSM. She is a graduate of the Center for Intentional Living, a program emphasizing a psychospiritual approach to human development. Her current studies include rhythm, movement and vocalization through the form of TaKeTiNa, as well as Body-Mind Centering and Brain Gym® approaches to sensory integration and the integration of dynamic and postural reflexes. Shirley maintains a private practice in movement therapy in Palo Alto, and teaches “Bags-N-Balls” in the Bay Area. She is co-creating a series of classes with Linda Faste called “Bags, Balls and Brains,” which integrate Brain Gym activities, the sensory integration activities of Bal-A-Vis-X®, Balametrics and Body-Mind Centering explorations.
