Our program is a simultaneous multi-sensory learning approach in a non-competitive
environment offering activities possible for everyone to do. All activities incorporate the use of dominant and non-dominant sides of the body first, doing the same movement. Avamere Corporation welcome kitsThen we enhance the ability to multi-task by asking the body to do two or more different things simultaneously. This produces perceptual shifts allowing individuals the opportunity to reframe challenging situations and to have a positive outlook.

Our process enhances creativity, integrates the nervous system and brings one into the physical body. A key benefit is the grounding of one in the present moment while multi-tasking and tracking the details and the big picture at the same time.

We create a safe container and hold the space, allowing one to fall out of the rhythmic pattern and find his / her way back into rhythm and the group.

Our activities foster a sense of connectedness and community as we take the group through a process of building personal skills that are then brought into relationship with another person and finally with the whole community. One of the highlights of this community experience is one single rhythmic pulse and the balancing of the inner experience with the outer.
