Using
sand bags and racquet balls, you learn a series of individual, partner
and
group activities. We will apply the individual skills you develop with
the sand
bags and balls by practicing the movement patterns with partners. You
also have
the opportunity to use these partnering skills in relationship to two
or more
other people with group patterns in circle formation and community.
These
various activities offer you the opportunity to develop skills in
simultaneously attending to yourself, to another and to a community.Other
aspects of these classes include eye tracking, playing with rhythm
sequences
using bouncing balls, various combination patterns of the basic bag and
ball
skills, and double focus activities (such as one hand doing one thing
while the
other one does something else.) These activities
